Similar to Pokemon and the early Final Fantasy games without the battle mode. Talk the characters, play the puzzles and explore the world for the story to advance. Very similar to a visual novel.

The game was uniquely fun in it's own way but I kinda wish there was a bit more content in it or at least 1 ending some where. How ever it was interesting I would category this under probably a RPG adventure visual novel if I'm not mistaken. ☺
